The end of our walk this Sunday morning.

Second activity this Sunday was Agility -

This is only the second time in class - and Guinness is
beginning to understand the concept

And yes, it was wet and windy

The final reward - the BALL.
And the final activity was: TEA AND TIARA.
Barbara (one of the morning walking group) and Colette were hosting a charity afternoon tea and a movie in aid of Marie Curie. The two ladies are going to do the Jordan challenge (a hike in the desert from Petra) in April.

Colin had invited us to watch the movie Hairspray at his private in-house-cinema after tea.

The lady in the background with a pink scarf is Colette and the lady at the front of the photo is Salamti - so now you know all the morning walkers.

Josephine (on the right) is also my neighbour

Ann on the left owns a B&B in Bangor and sometimes joins the walk.
Guinness has hipdysplasia and very sore muscles. Our vet recomended acupuncture and here you see her relaxing with her body full of needles and wires. She seemed to enjoy the experience.

The other part of the treatment to build up the legmuscles is walking on a treadmill under water. The picture is really not very good due to refelctions in the glass.

She started with 3 times 1˝minute - this shows how hard it is.

Taking to the treatment like a dog to water (excuse the pun :o))

Good Citizen Scheme

This scheme is run by the Kennel Club in order to promote socially acceptable dogs by way of creating responsible dog owners and is non competitive and easily run.

The scheme has four levels from the Puppy Foundation to Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Today Guinness was awarded her Bronze and Silver certificates - and got some extra mackerel with her dinner as a treat.
